Becoming a member of Bart’s Bards enables participation in all Bart’s Bards activities throughout the year. You’ll find we’re more than just another a community theatre; we’re a family. We support and encourage one another, grounded in our Christian faith. All are welcome regardless of experience level. In fact, many area thespians began their performance journeys with us!

Membership must be renewed each calendar year and runs from January 1-December 31.

step 1—complete the membership form

One membership form is needed per household. If you choose to fill out the printable form, return it to a producer, Board member, or mail/drop it off at the St. Bartholomew Parish Office (9375 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231).

step 2—agree to the code of conduct

Each individual member must submit their own Code of Conduct Form. If you choose to fill out the printable form, return it to a producer, Board member, or mail/drop it off at the St. Bartholomew Parish Office (9375 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231).

step 3—pay annual dues

Dues can be paid via cash or check (payable to Bart’s Bards). Give your dues to a producer, Board member, or mail/drop them off at the St. Bartholomew Parish Office (9375 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231).Membership rates are as follows:

  • $15 for an individual
  • $30 for a family living in the same household

Archdiocese of Cincinnati Safe Environment Requirements for Adults

Anyone who is 18 or older and out of high school and participates in a production with minors MUST meet the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Child Protection Program requirements. All required elements must be completed prior to rehearsals. If they are not, you will forfeit your role and your role will be recast. Additionally, quarterly training bulletins will be sent to your email, which you must complete in order to remain in compliance.

To register for SafeParish online, visit the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Safe Environment website. Add both “St. Bartholomew – Cincinnati” and “John Paul II School – Cincinnati” as your volunteer locations. Then, you’ll complete an initial training module.

Then, you’ll be prompted to submit a background check via Selection.com. The cost of the background check is in addition to your membership dues.
